Job Description
The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy evaluation/treatment, education, training, and orthotic/prosthetic device fitting, as well as the use of modalities and techniques for promoting the highest and safest level of function as ordered by the provider.
Provides physical therapy services for a variety of patients throughout their continuum of care in a hospital setting. Promotes an environment that empowers patient-centered, goal-directed therapy care aligned with the mission, vision, and values of MSRH.
Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist provides evaluation, treatment, and patient education to promote functional recovery in a hospital setting. They are responsible for developing comprehensive care plans and serving as a mentor to other staff members.
Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of physical therapy concepts and possess strong clinical judgment. Excellent interpersonal, listening, and speaking skills are required to effectively motivate patients and collaborate within a teaching environment.
