Job Description
Inova Physical Therapy – Fair Oaks is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team. This role will be a Full Time, Monday-Friday with 2 evening shifts until 7pm.
Work Location: 3580 Joseph Siewick Dr. Ste 202, Fairfax, VA 22033

Physical Therapist (PT) Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
- Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Gives appropriate instruction and supervision to assistive personnel consistent with program/clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensure: Physical Therapist upon start (VA licensure or compact privileges are acceptable)
- Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association upon start
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
- Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) experience

Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist will perform patient evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, and utilize various treatment modalities. They are also responsible for supervising assistive personnel and maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with department policies.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and possess a valid Virginia physical therapy license or compact privileges. A BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required upon start.
