Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Professional Counselor provides mental health and substance abuse services to adolescent and adult patients through individual, family, and group counseling. They are responsible for active care planning, clinical documentation, and collaborating with the treatment team to ensure patient needs are met.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in counseling and be licensed by the West Virginia State Licensure Board for Counseling. A minimum of two years of supervised counseling experience in a healthcare setting is required.
