About the Role

Join Independence Health System as a BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN WEEKEND in United States. * Delivers direct and indirect patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of care. * Performs and/or assists with patient care needs including activities of daily living as directed.

Requirements

  • Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience. Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year experience in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting, mental health crisis response service or related behavioral health program. License, Certification & Clearances

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.
