About the Role
Join Shineforth as a Senior Social Worker – Flexible Schedule in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the placement and treatment needs of clients in Treatment Foster Care program to meet their service plan upon intake into the program.
- Develop, implement, and reassess comprehensive treatment plans for each assigned client.
- Periodically assists with events to recruit, certify, train, and support of resource parents.
- Provide service coordination among referring agencies such as the Department of Social Services, Community Services Boards, Family Assessment and Planning Teams, and others.
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- The requirements listed in the job description are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Master’s degree in social work with a minimum of two years direct service experience or a Bachelor’s degree in social work and three years direct service experience.
- Demonstrated ability to apply sound casework and counseling skills, understand treatment modalities and their implications for services to families and youth.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Call responsibilities required.
- Weekend coverage may be required.
- Flexible scheduling available.
