Key Responsibilities

• /Responsibilities: Patient Care & Clinical Work Meets standards of practice as outlined by the NCCPA and AAPA.

• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other providers/specialists as needed and adjust PA care processes to ensure optimal patient care.

• May be responsible for coordinating health education information.

• Identifies patient/client needs, develops quality programs, and ensures deliver of quality services to meet those needs for all patients.

Requirements

• by the end of each calendar year.

• Prescribes or recommends prescriptions for medication and other treatments according to established federal and state requirements.

• Performs, orders, and evaluates results of lab, x-ray, and diagnostic tests as indicated.

• Provides coverage for other providers’ patients when a provider is unavailable.
