Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and plan of care established by a Physical Therapist.
- Carry out therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual interventions, and patient education as appropriate.
- Monitor patient response and communicate meaningful changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Help patients understand and participate in their rehabilitation program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current or eligible New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for helping patients achieve meaningful goals.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $45,000 to $65,000 annually.
