Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Case Manager is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient care. They work closely with insurance carriers, medical providers, attorneys, and employers to monitor patient progress and report results.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina and be willing to travel 80% of the time. Experience in workers' compensation case management is preferred, and registration as a Rehabilitation Professional with the North Carolina Industrial Commission is required within 60 days of hire.
