The pharmacist will manage infectious disease patients, including OPAT, HIV, and HepC, while supporting specialty pharmacy operations. Responsibilities include medication verification, insurance billing, prior authorizations, and providing patient education to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Candidates must be graduates of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy and possess an ASHP-accredited residency or three years of clinical pharmacy experience. A license to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Virginia is required within 90 days of hire.
