Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As an NP at our hospital, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients.
You will coordinate decision-making with the psychiatrist, perform clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans. Our team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists, and educators.
We seek someone who can establish empathy and a person-centered approach to patients, recognize their limitations, and respond to challenging situations with skill and professionalism.

Conduct follow-up visits after initial assessments Participate in weekly staffing and family sessions Prescribe pharmacologic interventions as necessary Review laboratory and diagnostic test results Consult with attending psychiatrists and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to perform clinical assessments, adhering to psychiatric and medical nursing procedures Communicate with patients, families, and others to obtain required information Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for: Education & Licensure: Completion of a Master’s Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited nursing school.

Compensation
