Key Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to hospice patients.

• Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management.

• Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Education and experience, essential Must be a graduate of an approved school, and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state in which they currently practice.

• Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare conditions of participation.

• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

• Education and experience, preferred At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred.
