Key Responsibilities
The counselor assists in planning and coordinating chemical dependency counseling programs for offenders with histories of addiction. They also conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individual treatment plans, and maintain detailed records of offender progress.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of experience in substance abuse treatment. A valid LCDC or CCJP certification is required, along with a valid driver's license and the ability to pass background checks.
