Key Responsibilities

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing standard and advanced respiratory care procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. They also assist physicians with invasive procedures, monitor patient clinical data, and provide ventilatory support as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy and possess a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the NBRC. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
