Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning and delivering nutrition care to patients in accordance with physician diagnoses and regulatory requirements. They also function as a member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team to identify nutritional risks and provide education to patients and their families.

Requirements

The role requires the ability to interpret and apply practice guidelines from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for nutritional assessment and care planning. Candidates must also be capable of providing age-specific nutrition counseling and maintaining professional development competencies.
