Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities

The occupational therapist directs, supervises, and provides therapy services to clients in their homes as prescribed by a physician. They are responsible for evaluating patient needs, establishing treatment goals, and instructing clients and families on therapeutic activities and assistive devices.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an A.M.A. approved occupational therapy school and be registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association. A minimum of one year of institutional experience and a valid state driver's license with a reliable vehicle are required.
