Key Responsibilities
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting services provided. They also provide education to patients and families while collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal functional outcomes.
Requirements
Candidates must be licensed to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Louisiana through the LSBME. Additionally, they are required to hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and obtain Non-Violent Crisis Prevention certification.
