The pharmacist is responsible for the purchasing, prescribing, preparing, and monitoring of specialty and investigational drugs for cancer and infectious disease patients. They also provide oversight of pharmacy support personnel and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and possess a valid California Board of Pharmacy license. A minimum of two years of hospital clinical pharmacy experience is required, with oncology or infusion center experience preferred.
