About the Role

Join Cypress Healthcare Partners as a Physical Therapist Aide in United States. SUMMARY The person in the position of Physical & Occupational Therapist Aide will assist with patient in-take and treatment regimens as prescribed by the treating Physical Therapist. This individual must be friendly, personable and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists patients to/from treatment rooms using appropriate equipment such as wheelchair.
  • Administer modalities as instructed by Physical Therapist.
  • Transfers patients using appropriate body mechanics and equipment as necessary.
  • Maintains patient care equipment and examination rooms following cleanliness, infection control and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of safe transport and transfer procedures including body mechanics.
  • Knowledge of how to use/maintain department equipment.
  • Knowledge of universal precautions and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent customer service
