About the Role

Join Cypress Healthcare Partners as a Physical Therapist Aide in United States. SUMMARY The person in the position of Physical & Occupational Therapist Aide will assist with patient in-take and treatment regimens as prescribed by the treating Physical Therapist. This individual must be friendly, personable and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assists patients to/from treatment rooms using appropriate equipment such as wheelchair.

Administer modalities as instructed by Physical Therapist.

Transfers patients using appropriate body mechanics and equipment as necessary.

Maintains patient care equipment and examination rooms following cleanliness, infection control and safety procedures.

Requirements

Knowledge of safe transport and transfer procedures including body mechanics.

Knowledge of how to use/maintain department equipment.

Knowledge of universal precautions and emergency procedures.

Excellent customer service
