The MST Therapist provides clinical treatment and prevention evidenced-based services to families and children facing serious behavioral, social, and emotional challenges, working with youth and parents on specific goals to maintain home living and school attendance while avoiding re-arrest. Therapists must work outside normal business hours, be available for crisis management, and travel off-island weekly to deliver services consistent with funder standards.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field with at least one year of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with five years of experience working with youth in mental health or education. Additional requirements include maintaining a valid driver's license, access to an automobile, and passing various background checks.
