How you’ll make an impact in this role

Assure patient safety and care quality by meticulously reviewing medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential drug-related problems.

Optimize patient outcomes by collaborating with physicians to recommend appropriate formulary alternatives and providing expert drug information to the medical team.

Oversee and mentor pharmacy technical personnel in the preparation and accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Educate and counsel patients on their medication therapies, promoting effective and safe use for better health outcomes.

Facilitate seamless clinical operations by ensuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy required. licensure or eligible.

Education

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy and be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Previous inpatient pharmacy or residency experience is preferred.
