About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medication and pharmaceutical orders for inpatients and outpatients.

• Confer with providers when necessary to clarify or verify orders.

• Enter essential information pertaining to medication or pharmaceutical orders into the electronic medical record.

• Review medication or pharmaceutical entry for accuracy.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.

• Active License through the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.

• Training and Experience: Previous hospital experience desired.

• Job Knowledge: General knowledge of state and federal drug laws as regulated by the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.

• Flexible scheduling available.
