Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, Critical Care Medicine - Anesthesiology, McGovern Medical School

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking applications for a full-time, non-tenure clinical track faculty for General Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (Medical/Surgical Critical Care or Transplant Critical Care) within the Department of Anesthesiology.

Position Key Accountabilities

We are seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals with a strong interest in clinical research and resident/fellow education. Applicants with an interest in translational research are welcome.

Duties include

• 1) Providing critical care medical services for patients in affiliated hospitals.
• 2) Providing anesthesiology and perioperative medical services for patients in affiliated hospitals.
• 3) Contributing to the academic and scholarly productivity of the Department of Anesthesiology.

Qualifications

MD/DO or equivalent degree

OACGME Accredited Residency Program in Anesthesiology (1 year general house staff and 3 years of anesthesiology residency)

• One year of fellowship training in an ACGME-accredited Critical Care Medicine program.
• Texas medical license or be eligible for licensure
• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine
• Academic rank and compensation are competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications
