Job Requirements
- Board: Board Certfication required (Eligible accepted, must become certified within 24 months)
- Licenses: Licensed in GA
- Certfications: BLS, ACLS, ABLS
- Experience: Minimum 3 years post-residency preferred; experience with wide age ranges (pre-adolescent to geriatric)
- Other Qualifications: EPIC EMR experence preferred; team-based care experience
Duties & Resonsibilities
- Provide and supervise medical and physical care to admitted psychiatric patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans including medication management and psychotherapeutic methods.
- Collaborate closely with treatment team members, pharmacy, and hospital staff.
- Supervise and support nurse practitioners.
- Manage a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses across age ranges.
Key Responsibilities
Provide and supervise medical and physical care to admitted psychiatric patients while developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans. Collaborate with the treatment team and hospital staff to manage a wide variety of psychiatric diagnoses across diverse age ranges.
Requirements
Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrists with a valid Georgia medical license. A minimum of three years of post-residency experience and proficiency with Epic EMR are preferred.
