The Speech-Language Pathologist organizes and conducts medically prescribed therapy for patients with various impairments to help them reach optimal function. They must also adhere to hospital policies and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders and a valid Speech Pathologist license in New Mexico. A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and BLS certification are also required.
