Key Responsibilities
The Inpatient Therapist conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions to educate patients on psychological, emotional, or substance abuse issues while actively participating in the treatment planning process. This role requires proactive communication with clients, families, referral sources, and the interdisciplinary team, alongside completing accurate documentation and demonstrating crisis intervention skills.
Requirements
Applicants must possess a Master's degree in social work or counseling, along with a current unencumbered clinical license (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A). Previous experience treating psychiatric and chemical dependency patients is required, and CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) must be obtained within 30 days.
