Licensed Master's Social Worker

Therapy My Way is a growing private mental health practice in Plainview, NY, seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team.

We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working collaboratively while developing meaningful, long-term relationships with clients. Our practice provides administrative support and an established referral network so clinicians can focus on what matters most—providing excellent clinical care.

Responsibilities

Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults

Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans

Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Collaborate with families and other providers when appropriate

Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings

Maintain professional and ethical standards of care

Qualifications

Current New York State LMSW license

Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reliable, organized, and able to maintain timely clinical documentation

Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Prior outpatient or private-practice experience is preferred but not required
