Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Administer physician-prescribed physical therapy to patients in their homes to improve physical disabilities and restore optimum function. Document all services, progress, and recommendations while collaborating with the interdisciplinary home care team.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy assistant program and hold a current state license. Requires a minimum of six months of experience, with two years in home health preferred, and a valid driver's license with insured transportation.
