• Anesthesiologist Position (2 weeks on, 1 week off) at Baptist Memorial
• Hospital-De Soto, an acute care hospital located in Southaven, Mississippi.
• Their highly skilled and experienced doctors, nurses and staff provide a wide

range of health care services, including ancillary, cancer, emergency and

surgical, heart, neurology, women’s and children’s services, and more.

Baptist-De Soto was the first hospital in De Soto County to offer open-heart

surgery. The anesthesia care team approach provides a collaborative work

environment where CRNAs, MDs, and the surgical team share strong, respectful

relationships—led by inspiring and supportive leadership. Currently our care

team model includes approximately 3 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs, who have

created a cohesive group.

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Regional, Cardiovascular (CV), EP Lab cases, Neurology,

• Pre-anesthesia assessment

• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

• Performance of clinical intervention as needed Assist in the directing and

• Anesthesia Department

• Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered

Requirements

• Schedule: 2 weeks on, 1 week off position 18 weeks of 7a-5p shift or 17.5

• M. D./D. O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine

• ECFMG and FLEX

• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia

• Currently licensed as a physician in Mississippi Board Certification or

• Salary: $537K
• Sign-on Package (Bonus with/without retention, Training Assistance, or Loan
• Repayment): $30K
