Job Description
Atlantic Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging
Cardiologist to join our nationally recognized Cardiovascular Service Line at
Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. This physician will play a key role
in advancing our comprehensive cardiac imaging program, providing expertise in
Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, PET, and echocardiography, while supporting the growth
of our structural heart, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, heart failure and general
cardiology programs. The position offers a balanced mix of clinical practice,
education, research, and leadership within a collaborative academic environment
dedicated to innovation and exceptional patient care.
Working closely with the Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Director of
Advanced Cardiac Imaging, the successful candidate will oversee and interpret
advanced imaging studies across Atlantic Health, mentor general and imaging
cardiology fellows, participate in clinical research and imaging core laboratory
initiatives, and contribute to quality improvement and program development. This

Key Responsibilities
* Interpret and oversee advanced cardiac imaging studies, including Cardiac
MRI, Cardiac CT, PET, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography,
stress echocardiography.
* Participate in advanced imaging core lab activities and provide imaging
support for structural heart procedures.
* Educate and mentor cardiology fellows through didactic instruction, hands-on
training, and clinical supervision.
* Collaborate on cardiovascular research, quality improvement initiatives, peer
review, and program development.
* Help expand advanced cardiac imaging services and contribute to the continued
growth of the Cardiovascular Service Line.
* Participate in shared call coverage for advanced cardiac imaging and core
laboratory services.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality,
patient-centered cardiovascular care while supporting Atlantic Health's
mission of clinical excellence, innovation, and education.
Salary Range: $425,000–$550,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or
productivity incentives.

Requirements
Candidates must be board certified in cardiovascular disease and hold or be eligible for advanced certification in cardiac CT, MRI, and echocardiography. At least one year of advanced fellowship training in cardiac imaging is required, and candidates must be eligible for a New Jersey medical license.
