Rogue Community Health is looking for a Student Health Services Nurse Case Manager for the 2026/27 school year only. This position is based at the Eagle Point School District 9. This position will be expected to travel to all schools within Eagle Point School District as needed.
This position may offer the potential for future opportunities within the Eagle Point School District. As the school year concludes, additional employment opportunities, including the possibility of a full-time position, may be discussed with the right candidate
This position works in collaboration with various Eagle Point School District departments to ensure health needs, both chronic and acute are addressed and managed appropriately.
This position is responsible for identifying and assessing health needs among students and provide instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention.
You will prepare classroom health plans in conjunction with student’s medical provider and family, and refer students to appropriate resources as needed. Work collaboratively with staff and parents to help remove barriers to good health and health care access with emphasis on the at-risk and special needs students.
This position is the main resource for schools to outreach and provide clinical direction as appropriate. Our ideal candidate is committed to serving our patient population to facilitate patient empowerment and self-care.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Prior school nurse experience also preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum five years’ professional nursing experience with three or more years in pediatrics and/or public health nursing preferred. Experience with electronic health records preferred.
Licensure and Certifications: Current unencumbered Oregon license to practice as a Registered Nurse and Current Basic Life Support Card.
Professional School Nurse Certification (Teachers Standards and Practices Commission)- or able to obtain within 1 year of hire.
Spanish speaking and previous School nursing experience is desired.

Requirements
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification. A minimum of five years of professional nursing experience, including at least three years in pediatrics or public health, is preferred.
