Job Description
This is an On-call, Day shift position.
The practice of physical therapy shall include assessment, treatment planning and implementation, education, communication and demonstration of therapeutic techniques to address the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance as needed. Otherwise, a physical therapist shall work independently without direction supervision.

Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Upon hire: Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
- Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Graduation from an accredited program.
- 2 years experience in rehabilitation.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
The physical therapist will perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide education to patients and their families. They will work independently to deliver therapeutic techniques within an acute care rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy program and hold a Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License. A National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required upon hire.
