The Forensic Evaluator conducts advanced psychological assessments, including competency to stand trial and violence risk evaluations, for patients in a psychiatric hospital setting. They also provide expert testimony, consult with multidisciplinary teams, and oversee forensic programs to ensure compliance with legal and clinical standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in psychology and be licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Texas or a reciprocity state. The role requires at least one year of supervised experience in forensic evaluations and psychotherapy within an inpatient psychiatric setting.
