Visas Accepted H1B or J1 Specialty Pediatrics - Adolescent Medicine Practice Details Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a BC/BE fellowship-trained Adolescent Medicine physician to join our collaborative team and to provide compassionate high-quality patient care to teens and young adults.

This fellowship-trained/Board Eligible Physician will be integral in caring for the special needs of teenagers and young adults, treating a variety of adolescent health conditions, from brain health disorders and reproductive health to physical injuries, while also collaborating with other Children’s Hospital Subspecialists.

Ideal candidate will be dedicated to the care and treatment of young people up to age 26. Provider will be an integral member in the education and training of residents as a part of their role.

Job Description The Pediatric Adolescent Medicine Physician provides comprehensive, developmentally appropriate primary and specialty care to adolescents and young adults.

This includes preventive services, acute and chronic illness management, reproductive health care, behavioral health support, and guidance on healthy development and lifestyle.

The physician works as part of a multidisciplinary team to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being during the transition from childhood to adulthood.

Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree. Successful completion of a residency in Adolescent Medicine or completion of a residency in Pediatrics followed by a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine Current medical license in each state of practice.

State Controlled Substance License (if required by State) Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.

Board Certified in Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada).

If physician is not board certified upon commencement of employment, they must achieve board certification as outlined in the privileging documents.
