Join Brown Medicine as a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist – Emergency Medicine in Cranston, Rhode Island, United States. The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist reports to Director Pharmacy Services, and indirectly to a Senior Clinical Pharmacist Specialist. Coordinates pharmacy clinical programs including but not limited to pharmacoeconomics, pharmacotherapeutics, pharmaceutical care, and drug information services.
This position offers day shifts only. Work with Brown Medicine in Cranston, Rhode Island, United States.
The Clinical Pharmacist Specialist coordinates pharmacy clinical programs and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication use in emergency medicine. They also serve as a subject matter expert, participate in quality improvement activities, and provide education to staff and students.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and be a Registered Pharmacist in Rhode Island. Completion of a PGY-2 residency in the area of specialty and current BLS/ACLS certifications are required.
