Job description

OhioGuidestone provides a complete continuum of responsive person-centered
prevention services, mental health and substance use treatment, and wrap-around
supports, serving the needs of over 50,000 people each year through telehealth
and locations across Ohio.

Essential Functions

o Make Psychiatric assessment and evaluation of clients both face to face and through telemedicine. o Prescribe medication in an effort to reduce mental health symptoms when needed. o Review and approve individualized service plans and other needed assessment forms. o Complete requested paperwork such as SSI forms, school forms, etc in a timely fashion. o Provide emergency psychiatric services, including emergency coverage as needed 24 hours a day on call. o Consult with individual program directors and staff on clients, programs and services at the various sites. o Collaborate with the Agency Pediatrician to provide consistent quality care. o In times of need, the Psychiatrist/Nurse Practitioner may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by the Leadership team including the President and CEO, the Vice Presidents and the Director of Integrated Care.

Qualifications

Licensed Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified required. Three years of experience is a plus. Must have a valid Ohio Drivers and safe driving record.
