Key Responsibilities

• Parkview Family YMCA is seeking a part-time Inclusion Counselor who is energetic and compassionate. The Inclusion Counselor will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of children with additional needs, including emotional, behavioral, and physical.

• Connect: Have a warm, engaging, and friendly demeanor that is able to connect quickly with program participants and parents.

• Nurture: Show compassion and understanding of children with special needs.

• Lead: Lead fun, enriching activities for school-age children with special needs who are participating in summer day camp.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Reliable transportation to and from work.

• Experience in the supervision of multiple children, including children with diverse abilities.

• Organized, detail-oriented, yet flexible.

Benefits & Compensation

• Pay rate: Pay rate4 - Pay rate4.50/hour.

Work Schedule
