Providence Community Health Centers is recruiting for a General Dentist to join our team working with Pediatric Patients

PCHC Dental offers comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and endodontic services, while championing optimal oral health for individuals across all age groups.

General Dentist Requirements

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Dentistry

2. Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Rhode Island.

3. Maintain on-going professional education and certification as mandated by specialty board or state regulation.

4. Experience in primary care setting preferred.

5. Experience in pediatric dentistry

GENERAL DENTIST ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Provide direct care to scheduled patients and/or walk-in patients when necessary, in accordance with PCHC policies and state statutes and regulations

2. Provide consultation to other health care providers.

3. Participate in scheduled meetings for case management or quality improvement.

4. Consult and collaborate with other center staff.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct dental care to pediatric and adult patients, including preventive, restorative, and endodontic services. Collaborate with other healthcare providers and participate in quality improvement and case management meetings.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of dentistry and hold a valid license to practice in Rhode Island. Experience in a primary care setting and pediatric dentistry is preferred.
