Job Description
Beacon Behavioral Partners is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for The Maples in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Inpatient Therapist you will provide individual and family therapy to patients within an inpatient setting, conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating family therapy sessions, and utilizing evidence-based practices to address mental health concerns within the context of family dynamics, all while adhering to the standards of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

What does the Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist do? (including but not limited to)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will specialize in areas such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
- Provide inpatient family related and family therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote client engagement and motivation for change
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Provide case management services, including referrals to community resources and support services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and treatment progress
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of outpatient therapy
- Experience: Keeps abreast of mental health and therapy trends and knowledge.
- Participates in in-service programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Inpatient Therapist or similar role
- Graduate degree in counseling (or related field) from an accredited university/college
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, PTSD, or other mental health conditions
- Must be licensed by the State where your hiring facility is located.
Physical Demands
This job requires employees to have a full range of physical capabilities, including the ability to handle and lift patients, demonstrate manual and finger dexterity, and maintain good eye-hand coordination.
Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift and carry items up to 40 lbs. Corrected vision and hearing within the normal range are also required. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential job functions.
