Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Presbyterian Homes of Georgia - Quitman on an as needed basis (PRN). The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation
Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
Interprets Physician Medication Orders
Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties
Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines, Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.
- Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
- Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
- Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
- Exercises sound judgment in decision-making
- Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
- Maintains professionalism in all situations
- Uses time effectively and efficiently
Position Requirements
- Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
- Previous experience in Retail/ Hospital pharmacy or other applicable settings

Requirements
Candidates must possess a current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state. Previous experience in retail, hospital, or other applicable pharmacy settings is required.
