About the Role
Join NYU Langone Health as a Registered Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Days in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Covers assigned areas. Knows limitations and asks for assistance, if needed. Voluntarily helps other staff.
- Assists in the supervision of Respiratory Technicians.
- Makes regular rounds of assigned patients to assess patient status, ensures
- Reviews current Physicians’ to ensure orders are being followed.
Requirements
- Confers with patients and/or family members to obtain pertinent patient information such as history of respiratory problems, current medications, past medical/surgical history.
- Reviews patient's charts/computer to obtain blood
- gas results, radiography reports, and other pertinent information.
- Provides patients and their families with education on their respiratory disease and care.
Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly rate: $59.93/hr.
