Job Description
- visional permit issued by the State of Idaho. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS. Key Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services to acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient populations in compliance with medical center policies. Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance programs.
Requirements
Requires a current Idaho Speech Language Pathologist license or provisional permit and BLS certification. A minimum of 1 year of experience with swallowing disorders or extensive dysphagia management during an internship is required.
