Opportunity Overview
We have an immediate opening for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our team at RMA of New York Long Island in Melville, New York. This position will support the East Patchogue, New York office, as needed.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:0300 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time; Weekday off will be determined upon hire (staff works four, ten-hour shifts per week) with a weekend and holiday rotation
- Compensation: Up to $130,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

In This Role, the Nurse Practitioner Will
- Educate patients and couples about the causes of infertility and discusses necessary evaluation, treatment and/or procedure plans
- Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure assessment and teaching
- Consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and/or required testing or procedures
- Assist as needed in surgical cases and transfers
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations while preforming ultrasound procedures

Qualifications and Skills Include
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing, or Doctor of Nursing degree
- Current New York State Nursing license
- Current New York State Certification (Yellow/diploma-like document)
- Valid and current Nurse Practitioner license required
- Valid and current Nurse Practitioner Board Certification (ANCC, AANP, or specialty board)
- BLS and/or ACLS Certified
- Women's health experience preferred; training will be provided
- High level of customer service essential and must be a self-starter

Key Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will educate patients on infertility causes and treatment plans while performing clinical assessments and ultrasound procedures. They will also assist in surgical cases and consult with patients regarding medications and protocols.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid New York State Nurse Practitioner license and board certification, along with BLS/ACLS certification. A degree in nursing is required, and experience in women's health is preferred.
