Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner provides a wide spectrum of primary care services to pediatric patients up to age 21, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow-up for acute and chronic conditions. This involves ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to formulate and implement individualized plans of care.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Master's degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program and five years of prior experience as an RN and/or Nurse Practitioner in a designated specialty. Required credentials include current RN and APN licenses from Pennsylvania, and current nationally recognized advanced practice certification or in progress.
