Join Washington Hospital as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Emergency Department in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • include discharge planning for complex patients in the ED to prevent inappropriate admission for patients that do not meet medical necessity criteria by procuring appropriate services and resources.
  • The ED Social Worker is also responsible for behavioral patients’ assessments in order to determine the need for a 5150.
  • The ED Social Worker shares responsibility for responding to a Code BERT.
  • The ED Social Worker oversees consults with mother and baby patients requiring screening before discharge.
