Utilization Mgmt Coord - Behavioral Health

Key Responsibilities

This role ensures admitted patients meet medical necessity for behavioral health services and monitors their progress throughout the plan of care. The coordinator also manages communication with payors to secure authorizations for continued stays and associated services.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Social Work and possess a current unrestricted license in Georgia as an RN, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. At least two years of experience in acute, psychiatric, or managed care settings with proficiency in InterQual/MCG guidelines and prior authorization processes is required.
