Key Responsibilities

• Establishes skilled speech treatment plans for residents. Conducts skilled speech services to residents once treatment plans are made including but not limited to; symbolic language, dysphasia, aphasia, voice treatment and treatment for communication and assistive devices.

• Review medical records to collect data that is relevant to the assessment as assigned and instructed; Gathers additional assessment information through interview of client, staff, and family as assigned. Completes initial evaluation and subsequent re-certifications as needed.

• All other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
