To provide high quality Interventional imaging, at a highly technical level, under the direct supervision of a Radiologist or PA. To assist the Radiologist or PA in the performance of advanced procedures, by putting into practice the FOCUS Values UnityPoint Health – Des Moines, we will meet the goals of our customers.

Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.
- Educates and protects all customers entering the vascular suite.
- Assists with all invasive procedures performed in the vascular suite.
- Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients.
- Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
Qualifications
Education: Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
Experience: Vascular experience. Radiology and computer background preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s): Pass the ARRT and have Iowa Permit to Practice, prior to hire. Life Support (BLS) or obtain certifications within three (3) months from date of hire. Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. Multicultural sensitivity. Microsoft Office – basic computer skills. Customer/patient focused. Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
