About the Role
Join Gunnison Valley Health as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), FT in United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing individualized treatment programs appropriate to achieving short and long
- term goals, in collaboration with the patient or the patient’s caregiver.
- Demonstrating awareness of the patient’s status by making program changes in response to changes in the patient or his environment.
- Performing adult and geriatric dysphagia evaluations appropriately according to the ASHA practice standards.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree from an approved program of Speech/Language Pathology.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years experience clinical training with a variety of client populations.
- Licenses/Certification: Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence outlined by ASHA. Maintenance of CPR or BLS
- Ability to take proper history and use evaluation methods in accordance with established guidelines
