Why TRU Healthcare?
We’re more than a healthcare provider—we’re a team committed to servant leadership, empathy, altruism, and integrity. Our mission is to expand access to quality healthcare, particularly for individuals and communities who may otherwise be underserved.
And while our work is serious, we believe work shouldn't feel like a chore. We value teamwork, respect, appreciation, and a workplace where people genuinely enjoy working together.

- Address functional limitations related to strength, coordination, balance, cognition, mobility, and other areas affecting daily life.
- Recommend and educate patients on adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, and techniques to improve safety and independence.
- Assess home environments and provide recommendations for fall prevention, accessibility, and safe performance of daily activities.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety strategies, and techniques to support continued progress between visits.
- Monitor patient progress, update treatment approaches as needed, and communicate changes with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
What You'll Bring
- Current, valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Previous home health experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Ability to travel within Duluth and surrounding areas.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between patient visits. Mileage reimbursement provided.
- A genuine desire to help patients live more safely and independently.
Compensation & Flexibility
This is a per-diem, per-visit position.
You choose how much or how little you want to work based on your availability and the needs of our patients.
Whether you're looking to supplement your current schedule, want the flexibility of per-diem work, or are interested in exploring home health without committing to a full-time caseload, this role gives you the freedom to build your work around your life.
Work when it works for you. Make an impact when it matters.
Come Do Work That Matters
