The social worker is responsible for conducting bio-psychosocial assessments, providing crisis interventions, and coordinating complex discharge plans for patients. They also collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to address the emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their caregivers.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and possess a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Registered Social Worker (RSW) certificate. Proficiency in medical terminology and computer applications is required, along with the ability to work in an acute care medical setting.
